LEKI are one of the industry’s true specialists. All they make are poles – ski poles, trekking poles, Nordic walking poles and, most recently, poles for trail and ultra-running – and associated accessories. From grip to tip, it’s the quality that counts. Take the grips, for example: comfortable, ergonomic and in a choice of materials to suit every budget and preference. The pole shafts – be they aluminium or 100% carbon – are the strongest available, and designed to last for many years. The locking mechanisms on the adjustable poles are also the strongest available – indeed LEKI were the first pole manufacturer allowed to use the TÜV Sud label – meaning LEKI are the safest choice.
Technical innovations include the Trigger 3D grip/strap system (a revolutionary 220-degree security release system, likened to a safety binding for a ski pole) which can be combined with LEKI Trigger 3D gloves for perfect control and comfort. For trekking poles, there’s the Aergon Air grip, incorporating the Safety Strap system, and the Dynamic Suspension System, which puts the anti-shock right at the tip of the poles where it can reduce peak impacts by up to 40%. Most recently, LEKI have introduced a whole new category of pole – Cross Trail – a hybrid pole that is suitable for fast hiking, Nordic walking and trail running.
