AKU Furiosa BOA - One of TGO's Chris Townsend's highlights from the Outdoor Trade Show 2025

Long-distance trail expert and TGO gear reviewer, Chris Townsend, visited the Outdoor Trade Show in Liverpool in June to preview upcoming outdoor gear for spring/summer 2026. The AKU Furiosa BOA® Trek GTX boots and Furiosa BOA® GTX shoe caught his eye, especially the non-GORE version of the shoe. Chris is already a fan of the BOA® Fit System, which offers micro-adjustable comfort that’s ideal for long-distance hiking, citing it as an excellent alternative to laces.
